@coolisle No, just no. This is vocal trance or progressive house as someone else mentioned ... either one fits the description. This is NOT pure trance. It does not entrance you so don't even say that it "evolved", such claims are just an insult to the genre and frankly means you have never experienced a great classic trance song.

To settle this debate once and for all; if you are someone who grew up on trance in the 90s, yes, trance nowdays is NOTHING compared to what it used to be. Back in the day this sort of thing was considered progressive house, not trance. Neo-trance doesn't give you a euphoric feeling or make you feel like you've got pure energy coursing through every part of your body. It is essentially the same thing they play on top40 radio stations along with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. There is a difference.

@rosse86 well clearly dude you are either dumb, or you havent been exposed to the beauty of the trance in the 90's... in the 90's trance was being formed, it was at its most creative period, everything you hear now was because of those old trance songs.. love stimulation (pvd remix), age of love - age of love, xpander, offshore, finished symphony, blue fear, suburban train, for an angel, cafe del mar (3n1 remix), fsol - papua new guinea... ^^ top them, then talk.

@gaj1012 I dont care for dubstep too much but the old trance....like in the '90s....that was pure crap for the most part....a few good groups like Enigma and a couple others i dont care to name lol but the majority of early trance was awful! I believe in the power of american natives? one of the original trance songs and had it been the first id ever heard i wouldnt be a trancer LOL

@coolisle haha yes i have actually.. and yes i think trance is pulling up.. i saw you wrote the comment last year... so i started my comment as of last year.. even though its pulling up its not at the top of its game.. older songs will always be the better ones.. but i am not so desperate as to saying "OH TRANCE IS DEAD!!" as for the trance is turning into dub-step it is happening look around you. for trance to comeback fully they need to stop this transition.

@coolisle yes but trance is evolving in a bad way.. in a way that stops trance from being trance/ turn into dubstep, which is happening now. stick with cafe del mar and older stuff.. they are better.. i used to be like you, thinking trance evolves like any genre.. but this music is not evolving. its just decreasing in quality.

@coolisle That's right and you can always listen classic trance tracks. I've been listening trance and close relations from early 1990's and I have to say trance is at it's best right now.
