@muzboz It was originally sort of a folk song/playground chant; Nina Simone did a version called See-Line Woman, and I think Feist's version was inspired by Nina Simone's. The first known recording of it is from 1939, and it's here: watch?v=rIa8kzM9uAQ

This seems to be some sort of quirky take on the Easybeats song called "See Line Woman" from the 60's in Australia! Quirky! Would love to see Feist live one day. :) LOVE AND PEACE.
