Ich such die DDR und keiner weiß wo sie ist.... Heute vor 23 Jahren wurde unsere "schöne kleine DDR" geschlossen. Zum Glück. Mit was für einem volkseigenen Inhaltsverwaltungssystem ich wohl sonst heute arbeiten würde? ;-)

You could write books about this question. You hate it ... you love it ... at least if you realize something is lost forever. The people demanded changes and "in seconds" the whole country was gone. Few peoples I know are happy getting rid of everything regarding this part of history. But many others, although thinking it is better now, feel they lost something. Now, in times without any ideology, it is hard to explain - especially because there are so many different point of views.
