much better than the original it is not. The vocals are too controlled for the song and don't have the realness or energy of Johnny Lydon. Not a bad cover just not 'much better' than the original. I don't know what you were thinking with that comment.

@MoonchildMindaugas2 Iron Maiden is the perfect band, they've never ever been commercial. They became a bit boring with Blaze Bayley on vocals, but they did some good songs with him, too, with Futureal and Fortunes of war being 2 of those.

@MoonchildMindaugas2 I realize it! I love Iron Maiden too, one of my fave bands if you watch what I wrote in my profile. I'm quite open to all kinds of rock, the only band I liked before I start to dislike a bit is Green Day, which now have turned too commercial. They did quite good stuff in the past in my opinion, but not now. Feeder have done similar stuff to their newer stuff in these last years, and in fact I wasn't that happy about it :(

@MoonchildMindaugas2 Don't worry, no offense! I'm always happy to share opinions. You must be an Iron Maiden fan, with that nickname. Did I get it wrong? :) Anyway, Feeder have done pop songs and I can't deny it, as much as it hurts me. I believe it's quality pop, but again this are just my opinions. As for true rock songs, I'd suggest you listening to "Sweet 16", "Sonorous", "Who's the enemy" and "Descend" from them. If you don't like these, then stay away from everything Feeder related ;)

@MoonchildMindaugas2 You must always be honest! Anyway, I don't think that Feeder is a pop band. Tey have of course some pop influences, but they've done so many songs that it's impossible to class them as "rock" or "pop" or anything else, really. How many sogs have you heard from them?

Yeah, I don't like this one... Because this is a protest song, I do not hear any protest here but the original lyrics... Singer's voice sucks... the tempo sucks... I do not mind covers, of course, but man, this sucks big time.

agreed - just said this is better cause I like it best - Pil is not my genre, definitely! Feder did this their own style and I happen to like it because my fave band did it the way they could do it best.

I think its a good cover, its silly to assume that it could ever be better. It is after all a dedication. Pil are that diverse, any band from any genre could find a pil song to cover.
