@simensays That's what age does to you. I think they've changed their style of music to suit Grant's voice rather than trying to alter his voice. Renegades was an attempt to please fans rather than show their 'poppier' side. Perhaps you will like the album coming out in October more than Renegades :)

@TheStelios I have the Renegades album. Sure i prefer the poppier side of Feeder, it's the change of Grants voice that's losing me. He used to have a raspy-sing-whisper. Now I hear age in his voice well beyond his years. The difference is so prevalent to me when you compare stuff post-Pushing the Senses.

@simensays Renegades is still very good, listen to Down to the river, its very reminiscent of Descend, Left foot right of Godzilla. Grant has proved he can still write good music, the instrumentation is still incredible, even though his voice may be deteriorating.
