Unless I'm much mistaken I recall a band member sadly taking his own life before this was done, which is probably the reason they dropped the last verse (regarding suicide) from their cover, very sad

after the last snare hit of the drum-fill in the very beginning, there is supposed to be a rest before the guitar strumming which would place the guitar notes on the correct spot (the up-beat), instead they are on the down-beat. If you know anything about reggae or ska you'll know those guitar notes are on the up.
