This is the best version of this I have ever heard....Paddy Bell's voice is really beautiful and haunting and the simplicity is what really makes it work. Less is often more.

So many versions of this song attempt to create an 'ethereal' quality through too much orchestration and waify female voices. This version is wonderful because of its earthiness and simplicity.......it feels real.

Nice video I love the countryside round the great Orme and I love the Corries - I had the pleasure of seeing Roy and Ronnie perform 6 times before Roy passed, a sad loss to music.
