theres a certain quality to this music which makes it sound if it was recorded from a distance, like its being played in another room I don't know how to describe it.

WestSideOfJazzThe indelible tune Jitterbug Waltz performed, unbeknownst to most people was recorded on a Hammond organ by Fats Waller with a big band supporting, since its often its often played as a solo tune on acoustic piano.

1942 - Fats Waller recorded "The Jitterbug Waltz" in New York. It is notable for being one of the first jazz records recorded with a Hammond organ, an instrument that would gain popularity in the genre soon after.#dapimusic #mymusichangout #jazzmusic #fatswaller #hammondorgan #onthisdate #onthisday
