Fats Waller again sits at the keyboard of Victor Record's Estey Organ to record his arrangement of W. C. Handy's "Loveless Love". His arrangement is anything but blue and "loveless". Waller's take on this wonderful old blues song is quite cheery and uplifting.

The Camden Historical Society sent me a picture of the building/address etc. They say it was the Trinity Baptist Church which Victor purchased in 1916 with Estey Organ intact. Victor, ever flush with $ in the 1920s, ordered a new Estey for the "Church"-delivered in 1921. The address supplied by the Historical Society matches the address that Victor purchased. The pic in my vid "Sugar-Fats Waller" on this channel, is the "Camden H S pic. Thanks for your interest and comments.11 years ago

Thank you for the info on old Trinity Church, Camden and its organ. I knew that Victor had used it for a recording studio, and that Fats made most of his organ recordings there, but I never knew what denomination the church had been or what make the organ was... I had assumed it was an Episcopal Church, with probably an Austin ...13 years ago
