Just a few point of clarification about the video.1.) This IS sacrilegious to classical musicians2.) You do NOT keep the musical integrity playing at great speed3.) His articulation is sloppy, and he has terrible left hand technique4.) That douchebag smile when he says "I'm the first one to do it," makes me what to punch him in the faceAnd last, but not least ...5.) He's inspiring me to throw up

David Garrett is still the fastest violinist, in my opinion. There is no rythm in this peice, it sounds mediocre.

This makes me feel like there should be two different records. David Garrett would have one for fastest playing while still retaining stylistic character and then this guy would get fastest playing humanly possible. His speed is definitely impressive and deserves some sort of recognition for it. But I think when speed of that magnitude is the goal, it can get to a point where it's near impossible to add stylistic features like accents and dynamics. It could also have something to do with that bad sounding violin. I'm sure it's great for many different genres, but when it comes to classical the traditional violin will always sound best.

Who cares if you can play violin the fastest!!! Music is all about making it sound beautiful not about how fast. First of all, that's not even a real violin. A real violin has 4 strings, not 5. My violin teacher can probably play WAY faster than you and it will sound MUCH better. And it doesn't matter if you can play bumblebee for like 54 seconds. You can't even play the beats right. You really suck at playing violin.

He's uses a electric violin with effects because when he wrongs, people don't listen it.That's a bad version. David Garret is better.
