Das Video wurde 1985 im Ku in Lippstadt aufgenommen. Dort war die Weltpremiere des Songs. Zufälligerweise war ich damals dabei. Am Schlagzeug sitzt definitiv Curt Cress. Wir konnten mit Frank Farian und Curt Cress sprechen. Der Gospelchor war aus den USA für das Video eingeflogen worden. Das Ku ist später abgebrannt und wurde nicht wieder aufgebaut.

the original classic was a song of its era, fitted the time and the mood of the youth, this 80's version is also a classic in its era, covering an older song and giving it to a new generation, I love both versions for being so different but still the same character & feeling

producer was Frank Farian, Far Corporation was an assembly of German session musicians and several better-known rockers, including members of Toto. (guitarist Steve Lukather, keyboardist David Paich, and singer Bobby Kimball , it is a good cover there took it too the 80s, got to number 8 in the uk for a week, in 1986

Bought this video of a "live" performance of this entire album was very disappointed! It's entirely synched to the album's audio! Also because Steve Lukather did most of the soloing and he's not on it when they get to them they use slow motion or video effects and sometimes don't even show the guitarist at all! Also it's Simon Phillips on drums! Still, the video guys are excellent musicians and McAuley & Kimball are there so it would had been nice to hear an actual live recording!
