The Whispers were a fantastic vocal group.......that isn't debatable, whatsoever. Having experienced my College years during the 70's, I was spoiled rotten by all the incredible male vocal groups who absolutely THRIVED during that period: The Whispers, Temptations, O'Jays, Isley Brothers, Chi-Lites, Stylistics, Spinners, Blue Magic, etc., etc. I was SLAMMED with great music; I drowned in it, very happily. In regards to this music, I was like a fat kid in a buffet; I could never get enough.
