My arguments for Furter still remain. My theory on why he murders Eddie is as follows. Eddie represents sexually tansmitted diseases- hence, "hot patootie". That entire song Eddie performs is about catching STDs and trying to ignore it. Therefore, Furter detests Eddie and willfully murders him. Later he eats him to drive the point home. Dr. Scott- who in many ways could represent the church- naturally wants Eddie around; as in- the church wants people to get STDs so they wont be so promiscuous.

So you kind of miss the part where Furter murders and eats people - illustrating the dangers of excess.

This song pretty much sums up the entire purpose of what Rocky Horror is about. People always miss the point! Rocky Horror is about the importance of enjoying your sexuality, not being ashamed of it, and living out your kinky fantasies and not allowing conservative/ religious elements (symbolized through Riffraff and Magenta who eventually destroy Furter's sexual freedom) to stop you. This is actually my favorite song from Rocky Horror. I find it moving.

This song needs to be twice as long This song is way too short, but I still listen to it over and over...

On the topic of achieving dreams, Richard O'Brian has been undergoing hormone therapy to bring his feminine side to he surface. I think we should all thank him for his creativity, his bravery, and the countless hours we've spent listening to this soundtrack :)
