Falling Promises is a Metalcore band from Luxembourg(Europe), which was formed in 2008. End of 2008, the guitarist and singer left the band, then Eric Weishaar joined as second guitar, and Mike Rodrigues joined the band as Vocalist. About one year they worked on songs, which would influence Falling Promises with a touch of Hardcore, Metalcore, and a lot of Melodic Riffs.
With influences like For Today, For The Fallen Dreams and Emmure, they try to make their own Metalcore-style.
In 2009, Falling Promises had their first Demo Release at the "Rockhal" with their buddies from An Apple A Day, Unspoken Logic, Infact and Miles To Perdition.
After over 50 gigs in Luxembourg, Belgium, France and Germany, with big and sick bands like: War From A Harolts Mouth, As they Burn, More Than A Thousand, We Butter The Bread With Butter and Texas In July from Pennsylvania, they took a five-month break, to write new songs for an upcoming EP, which was recorded at the SU2 Studios in Illingen by Phil Hillen.
In May 2011 they restarted playing many gigs in Luxembourg and greater region to represent new songs of their 6-tracked upcoming EP ''DIARY''.
In October they will support for the second time their American buddies from Texas In July and many more shows are in planning.
There first EP ''DIARY'' were released on 24 sept 2011 !!!!!
