La canzone che poi è stata ripresa da Celine Dion ma l'originale è questa del 1994. This song is from my original cd of Marie Claire D'Ubaldo in 1994.

Lyrics:

And in your eyes I see ribbons of color

I see us inside of each other

I feel my unconscious merge with yours

And I hear a voice say, "what's his is hers"

I'm falling into you

This dream could come true

And it feels so good falling into you

I was afraid to let you in here

Now I have learned love can't be made in fear

The walls begin to tumble down

And I can't even see the ground

I'm falling into you

This dream could come true

And it feels so good falling into you

Falling like a leaf, falling like a star

Finding a belief, falling where you are

Catch me, don't let me drop!

Love me, don't ever stop!

So close your eyes and let me kiss you

And while you sleep I will miss you

I'm falling into you

This dream could come true

And it feels so good falling into you

Falling like a leaf, falling like a star

Finding a belief, falling where you are

I appreciate this. The original version to me is the best. Passion is not sacrificed at all in this song. It is my favorite song of all time.

Quella di Celine Dion è più accattivante...

Sorry arrymax but Celine is overwrought in her singing. This is the original sung by the woman who wrote it. Celine never writes her own songs.

Another song Celine Dion butchered SMH... That woman can sing but gosh is half of her songs are covers only

"Falling into You" (Billy Steinberg, Rick Nowels, Marie-Claire D'Ubaldo) nothing better than the author version.

Infinitessimally better than Celine Dion's cover, with much more soul! Since Marie Claire wrote this song, she knew exactly where to pinpoint the emotions etc., making this song the best ever! I hope Marie Claire got to reap the benefits from Celine performing her songf, although I doubt it was a lot of money...

This needs more love! Either Celine's and Marie's versions are critically underrated. This is better than that annoying Adele. She gets 300 milions of views just because she's gem in the years of teen pop. 90's were full of diamonds like Celine and Marie. That's why this song didn't get love they deserve.

Nope, my proof starts from line 3, which assumes that Marie's version is a cover and then proves that it is wrong to assume thus. My argument is not dependent on the prior premise, which has not been researched, I must concede. So actually I have no idea whether covers can win grammies (but if Celine had won a grammy, I can probably infer that covers can win grammies), but this has no bearing on my proof later, which merely says that your retracted statement would be anachronistic.

Hehe, I was writing in jest. Nice to see people not taking themselves so seriously on the internet. My proof starts from the third sentence onwards though, so it still stands.

Your logic does not make sense. You can win the grammy for covers too. Assume this is a cover for contradiction. And since this was released in 1994, before Celine Dion released hers in 1996, it can only be a cover if Marie listened in 1996, went back in time, and released this version in 1994. Since this cannot happen in real life, there must be a contradiction. Thus my assumption is false, and this is the original. Q.E.D. (Proof by contradiction).
