"Crucial Point" been at 0:43 were Joe normally comes in on on the D octave so I don't think we're thinking of the same place. The sound tech does have control, I'm aware of what the whole sound check/practice run protocol is and it's obvious that it's been done because Joe's Slide at the start of the song right before the "breakdown" is there. None of them have pedals though so the someone has forgot to que his sound back on after they muted him to stop feedback or his wireless system has bugged

What "crucial point" are you talking about? I heard his guitar at the "crucial point" if we're thinking about the same part. And did you know the guitar tech doesn't have control over that? It's called a sound tech. Yeah, they control the levels of the instruments. If you've ever been to a concert you notice that they usually do practice runs to make sure everything's levelled before the show starts.
