Wtf man I read the comments before watching and honestly y'all overreact. Patrick's singing wasn't THAT bad. Didn't hit every note, but I dare say that I enjoyed it. Not a musical person, but I didn't find Pete's bass playing to be a problem. And what's all this shit about Andy "suffering in a box" lmao. It's for sound purposes so chill. I'm sure the dude's living just fine.

Minnich*.

Bad. Many bands can do it much better than them, and it's their song! STUDIO PRODUCTS and LIVE covers - are different, aren't they? )))))

I really like Pete, but we all know that he´s no singer. He is actually the only one in the band who can´t sing, so I´m really glad that he nowdays leaves the background vocals to Andy or Joe.

Allow me to clear things up for all ya that don't know:Pete says all the time that he never knew how to play the bass. If anything, he's playing notes that Patrick told him to play. Anyone can play a note, but to know what you're playing is the difference between a bass player and someone that plays a bass.Andy's in a box because drums are so fucking loud. If you're in a band, you know how it feels like to be next to a banging drum. The box compresses Andy's drums so the other instruments don't have to raise their volume, so they can hear themselves better, and so Patrick doesn't yell out his vocals. Which brings me to the next point.Patrick's singing is kinda off. I'm not going to lie but it is. There is multiple reasons for it though. My logical guess is that he can barely hear himself. With a bass, drums, and two guitars blasting all at you, it's kinda hard to hear yourself sing. It's like the guy who sings with his headphones on. In his head, he probably sounds like he's hitting all the notes, but in reality he's not. That's why they all wear ear monitors or some sort of device that plays back their music live. I've experienced this before and it's the worst thing a singer can possible have live. He can memorize the feelings of the notes but that isn't always reliable. Joe is Joe and he only has to keep tempo and play guitar. It isn't much so he can focus more on what he's doing.

I seen nothing wrong with Pete and his bass playing. And Patrick wasn't as bad as people are saying. You try singing and playing that all the time without messing up and then comment on here saying how they both sucked.

Even though they are technically better performers, and Patricks voice has improved a lot in technique (and with age), in this performance they are going at it their absolute hardest, really has that punk rockish energy to it. I'm not necessarily saying it's better than them now, but it's really interesting to see how they've evolved since here. Ps Patrick can still sing heaps fucking sick here, it's way more raw and punchy, with the inconsistencies in the vocal techniques he uses it's really cool I think.

If I miss even two seconds of any of their songs (besides Centuries) then I have to start the whole thing over again.
