Named after a Killing Joke song and formed in 1982 by GC Green (bass) and Paul Neville (guitar, tapes, programming), Fall Of Because were later joined by Justin Broadrick to become what would be later known as Godflesh. Broadrick does the vocals but also the drums (real ones) here. This song is off the Life Is Easy mini album, featuring live and studio sessions from 1986-87 and released in 1999 by Invisible recs, and has been re-recorded by Godflesh for the 1994 Flowers EP.

I've never heard this version of the song. It's pretty cool, but I gotta say I prefer the re-recorded version. That shit is just SO slow and heavy and brutal. I like to crank my amp up and jam that shit, even tho it's probably the simplest song I know. It just goes hard like that.
