This has the wrong visual because I mis-identified it at first asWilson Pickett's version of "I Found A Love, Part 1," released in 1967. It's actually the version of the tune he recorded with the Falcons in 1962 It went to No. 75 (No. 6 on the R&B chart). Pickett's 1967 cover of the record went to No. 30 (No. 6 R&B).

TVONE thanks for backstory on Wicked Pickett, it was insightful, the greats seem too all have pretty much the same stories! Was good to hear from Bobby on his view of Wilson! Awesome!!!!

This song gives me chills. I am one of the fortunate ones that can sing this in the same key. Love this song

In fact, this is the original version of the tune that The Falcons recorded, with Wilson Pickett singing lead.

Could very well be the standard for emotion put on vinyl Wilson Pickett is utterly surreal. He did not get the credit he deserves

Sure you made a goof, but how can you not forgive that goof? This version soothes the soul. Thank you!
