Katherine i recently watched a Joel Osteen broadcast and he spoke about how his sister was trying to have a baby for so long but she kept on trusting God and she decided to write a legal document to God were she wrote all the scriptures were God says you will not be barren and you will be fruitful and multiply and those were words she could hold onto cause Jesus never lies these are his promises to you.Will be praying for you remember he never fails GOD TIME IS NEVER LATE OR EARLY ITS PERFECT :)11 years ago

yes i saw your answer, lets pretend there was no bacteria, lets pretend there was no hot or cold, hey look! the polar bears can live perfectly along the african elephants! its called Special Pleading, abandoning the laws of reality to suit your view. - also we can trace written history back long before this "flood", but then noone can really decide on when the flood was can they? you think something that big would leave evidence. but evidence and religion dont mix.11 years ago

1. where did all the water come from/go? - 2. howcome you can read through history of what was going on around the world at the time of the "flood" and theres no mention of it? - 3. animals from different climates have different diseases and immune systems, putting them all together would kill them all. - 4. food. the average cheetah eats 6 pounds of gazelle a day(thats 240 pounds over 40 days), the average gazelle weighs 50 pounds, and this is just one example, out of every animal on the boat.11 years ago

no i dont mean you can find "ideas" about evolution i mean actual demonstrable experiments, like in 2008 when biologists did an "experiment" (they knew what the outcome would be.) they took a species of fruit fly and over 40 generations they reduced the oxygen levels that the flies had, after 40 generations they had an ENTIRELY NEW SPECIES of fly that could survive critical levels of oxygen. theories are theoretical, evolution has been observed, it's not a theory.11 years ago

i'ms orry but you're wrong, you can find many examples of evolution in work just with a simple google, its as much a theory as gravity (yes some people still put the "theory" word on gravity) as to good or evil, i was providing an example of something horrible where the catalyst was religion, i dont know why you have the notion that unless there is a god you should'nt have manners, thats ridiculous! and i'm proof that its wrong, i'll always be polite to my elders etc.11 years ago

"then you probably believe in evolution" yes i believe in facts, evolution has been a proven demonstable fact for decades, anyone who does'nt know evolution is a fact has either not done the research or has done the research and is choosing to ignore it. - good/evil are personal ideals, if you hurt someone they hurt you back, its better to be kind to others and they are kind back. i'm sure you think the muslim terrorists are "evil", but they're acting for a "god" just like you.11 years ago

i know people mean well when they say "i'll pray for you" but you must understand that to me that sounds as silly as "may the force be with you(star wars)" or "live long and prosper!(star trek)" "You cant just read some passages and say it's evil, you have to read it as a whole." i used to call myself christian, it was reading the bible that made me an athiest, there is no context that makes the things i listed in my previous comment acceptable.Related Videos
