You have to realize that Greg Graffin (the singer) was 15 at the time he wrote the song. He was just an angry teenager, and was getting sick of tv evangelism and wrote a song about it. @cuntsound actually when bad religion wrote these song greg graffin had quite a good grasp on the topic as it was all around him growing up, but it was also when he started taking an interest in evolution, and as he sais he always had a problem with authority, that being religion which he came to hate even more growing up and it shows in his lyrics, you should read his book, its really gd

I believe in God. But I don't like when people fight each other because of religions, beliefs... I wouldn't kill, or hurt anyone just because they have other beliefs, or don't have any. But other people do, and pretty much force everyone to be a Christian.

Actually, Christians believe that if you trust that Jesus is your savior and died for you, you're saved. They don't make you pay money and live a perfect life to the Bible or you burn in Hell. That's BS, i understand where he's coming from but really it's not true, at all. The churches ask for donations because they need to keep it running, it's not against religion to not pay tithes to the church but it's encouraged.
