Faith Hill is amazing singer and this version of Cry is really really wonderful!! I love her voice so much!

Do you know what - when a song can get two very contrasting treatments and still sound equally devastating, it's a sign of a class number. Angie's song IS a masterpiece -and the lyrics cut deep (and have done so with many folk). Angie's contribution on this with the high harmones really do enhance it. But without Faith - this song would have not got the attention it deserves. Of course it never got it anyway - worldwide. Most underated song in pop history this. Why?

And do ya know what? Virtually nobody has heard this version (partly because the title's misleading !). They have NO IDEA what they're missing. And the world at large has largely been denied this Gem of a song in the Faith version. It really could take the world by storm, as it never really has. Yep -it's a pot boiler. And NOBODY else could deliver it like Faith. If she hadn't done it Angie's great song would have remained parked up a back alley. Just LOVE the accordian on it ... THEY OWNS IT !!

This really is pretty devastating ... What i absolutely LOVE about it, is that, although this is a laid back acoustic version - Faith uses the same powerful vocal delivery that she does on the lavish studio version. This is one of the BEST recent uploads on YouTube (yes the whole platform !) in the last year. It is a piece of SWEET PERFECTION and demonstrates yet again, that THIS SONG is by far the BEST number she has ever done and will for me - forever define her Class and sheer Quality.
