You are right, it certainly does sound more like hog wort in the song. But like you said, hogwash makes so much more sense, and the loss of the "sh" isn't all that odd, considering words are mispronounced or garbled in nearly every song. I looked up the lyrics from about 10 other places (because I was surprised by what you said), and 6 said hog wort, 4 said hogwash. I can't make sense of the lyrics if it is hog wort... maybe something to do with the fact that it is a laxative? Haha...

I'd be inclined to agree with you because it fits the meaning of the lyrics better, but I think it actually may be hogwort. As in the plant. This evidenced by every single lyric readout of this song saying hogwart (although I think they are all just spelling it wrong) and there is no "sh" sound audible at all at end of that word when he sings it.

i wanna see them live! god how good are they really?! darroth´s voice in being in heaven, Lyrics, instrumental, they do pass fealings to people trew their instruments and for their energy and joy in the stage. i´m allready working on the rikki tikki tavi voice, with the help of troath singing, its pretty interesting and im actually reproducing that deep low voice quite good :p well fair to midland is one of my favourite bands by far.
