Great vintage footage. Rediscovering Extreme ... been in Nashville for the last 20 years. Hadn't realized how much I missed real, down-to-earth, head bangin', foot stompin' R&R. Such energy! And Nuno? Wow! Too bad I'm old enough to be his mother. I'm born a generation to early. At least I get to enjoy them now and see/hear how much they've matured/evolved as musicians, writers and performers. Wonder if they're ever going to play in Cleveland again ... never seen one of their live shows.

Hi, I couldn´t get all the words but he told Gary something like "you didn´t do the .......solo (or song) as normal", gary replied "yeah, I did" and nuno said again "no, you didn´t" ...... just the perfectionist side of nuno =)

Just because they had other radio singles doesn't mean most people knew about them. More Than Words was the only single that the majority of metal fans associate Extreme with. Not much was heard from them afterwards until the band's former singer joined Van Halen in 1997.

huh? kid ego, mutha, little girls, get the funk out, and decadence dance were all released as singles before more than words. more than words was on their second album.

dude the label didnt want to put out more than words niether did the band only nuno did. he was ready to leave the label if they didnt promote it. so the label just told a small radio station in arizona to play it and it just caught on from there

Well, as a metal band, when a label insists a band like Extreme make their first radio single be a ballad, it's no surprise that One Hit Wonderdom struck them big time. They had other great songs like Play With Me and Get the Funk Out, but for some reason they weren't allowed to release them as singles.

It surprises me not, back then it was all about giving eachother high-fives all the time
