Remember buying this the day it came out in the record store. Sat in the car and listened to it full blast. Great memories. We really need a new Extreme album!

Which audioslave song does this represent? I love this song.

Great tune with great lyrics. The main riff reminds me a lot of "Changing Times" by Nazareth. That just shows how old I am. By the way, if you think this is an Audioslave rip-off, you haven't heard much of Extreme's music through the years. This is very much classic Extreme.

Extreme -- Perhaps one of the most criminally underrated rock bands of all time. If they didn't have the poor timing/luck of hitting the scene around the same time that the "popular" taste was turning to Grunge and (cough) Hip Hop...they could have been as big as Van Halen. Certainly they had the talent, songwriting/musicianship and instrumental virtuosity in Nuno Bettencourt. Plus, their drummer(s) were top notch. And they just kept getting better, from their first eponymous album, all the way through Saudades de Rock.

I saw these guys in Manchester UK a few years ago, it's still the best gig I've been to. The highlight must've been shaking Gary Cherone's hand at the end.

then why don't those two guys have a song writing credit on this song then?

@gmanhell94 I know this song came out of the unreleased follow up to Van Halen's III, wasn't sure if it had been sort of rewritten for this. Out of curiosity, on Extreme's record, is it credited to Cherone/EVH/AVH?

@ziggystuffedcrust It is a van halen song.
