This is not my song for copyright reasons it is Straylight Run off their album "Straylight Run"

Lyrics:

When the sun came up,

We were sleeping in,

Sunk inside our blankets,

Sprawled across the bed,

And we were dreaming,

There are moments when,

When I know it and

The world revolves around us,

And we're keeping it,

Keep it all going,

This delicate balance,

Vulnerable all knowing,

Sing like you think no one's listening,

You would kill for this,

Just a little bit,

Just a little bit,

You would, kill for this

Sing like you think no one's listening,

You would kill for this,

Just a little bit,

Just a little bit,

You would, you would...

Sing me something soft,

Sad and delicate,

Or loud and out of key,

Sing me anything,

we're glad for what we've got,

Done with what we've lost

Our whole lives laid out right in front of us,

Sing like you think no one's listening,

You would kill for this,

Just a little bit,

Just a little bit,

You would,

Sing like you think no one's listening,

You would kill for this,

Just a little bit,

Just a little bit,

You would, you would....

Sing me something soft,

Sad and delicate,

Or loud and out of key,

Sing me anything.

He shouldn't criticize you. Music is about happiness not preference. Sing where you want when you want. You'll only have so long to do it and as long as it makes you happy it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks, even if that person loves you and you love them.

For me, this song means that he isnt sure who he is, then he meets her, falls in love and ends up discovering his self. Would kind of make sense due to the song title Existentialism on Prom Night

I get criticized by my husband every time I sing. When I'm really sad I sing this in my car.

between 2:06 and 2:07, there's a violin that plays a wrong note if you listen verrrry carefully.
