Personally, I like this more than the original, despite how much i love the original. Can't beat the double kick, guitar sound and harmonies...

Killer cover....is the distortion up to 11 or 12?

I don't like the guitar tone. All crunch and no body to it.

Yeah, but I heard that Pantera and Exhorder were actually friends around this era though

Sabbath def coined that heavy sound! But other bands crafted their own versions of heaviness that others have followed. In an Interivew with Sid Barrett and Roger Waters they ask him "Why? So loud?" And Sid simply responds "Cuase thats how we like it!" Same with King Crimson who created a very eerie different form of heavy, also so did Wind Hawk and Pentagram and also Led Zepplins, Hendrix, and Creams heavy crushing riffs as well.

Sadly.... Thats why so many people know about Exhorder they are "that band, that sounds like Pantera" or Pantera's less successful roommate in the world of groove metal! At least Exhorder credits Pentera with being more dedicated 2 breakin it big!

This is such an awesome cover. Sounds a lot like Pantera.

Really? I love that snare sound...crushing and bright.

True, but Exhorder had access to modern production techniques and equipment that Sabbath didn't have back in the early '70s. Sabbath wrote the book on heaviness. Every band that's come after has just built on Sabbath's foundation

The drum cymbals could be more louder
