"We hold hands in the movie show; We enjoy sitting side by side in the ice cream parlor; and we dance when we hear our favorite melody......Now, that is old fashion.....That is romancing in the 50's and 60's......Doesn't get any better than that....Cute, short, and to the point.....Love my Kentucky boys.....

Love it but really love the other side "How Can I Meet Her" which sounds like it easily could have been done by The Beatles early on...

Give me the late 50's and 60's for romance. No online dating sites. Had to walk up to an attractive young lady and pluck up the courage to ask for a dance. The fear of rejection was real but give me that contact anytime.

Old fashioned? Hardly. Their music will live forever--always in fashion for those who listen to the best rock and roll ever produced.

My favorite duo. I've loved them since I was a little girl. This song is so wonderful with its upbeat tempo and positive message. 6 years ago, during my final year as a HS teacher, our school had a Teacher Talent Show. Using my old-fashioned cassette recorder, I recorded Phil's part of this song and then sang along with my tape for the show, doing Don's part live. (So I guess I was Phillis and Donna.) Got many nice compliments and had great fun.
