But I share one appreciation with you : this song was the foundation of what wld later be called Pop songs and Pop music. It is assurely one of the greatests songs ever; And the greatest by the genius singing duo This song is seminal .He can put all the pop songs the Beatles did in perspective.None of them has the high pickness, the Rythm and the tremendous crescendo sustained by the marvellous cymbals arrangementsI don't understand why on every reviews ( and I have read all that I cld put my eyes on !) on the world favorite singing duo, this one isn't put in first position .I love various genre of music, but Stick With Me will stick to my heart and brain for life

I first heard and loved this song in 1962, on the original album. Written by Mel Tillis, this song has been the best and longest lasting memory of my musical life of all time. It says it all. Bar none, "stick with me baby" is THE greatest song of all time...in my opinion.
