Anytime from Bye Bye Love until their last tour, the Everlys voices and harmony were amazing and without equal but I've always felt that this period of time was when their voices were at their absolute best. To my ears their album Roots, recorded during this period was their best singing ever. I always wished that they would have done a Songs Our Daddy Taught Us II during this time with just their two voices, bass and their acoustics. It would have been a treasure.
