I'm almost 24, about 2 years back I was forced to stay in the hospital psychward round 2 weeks. It was cus I got in a fight with my dad. Later that year, I went to rehab voluntararly (sry terrible spelling:) ) it was only 2 weeks but was the worst in my life. The first 2-3 days I walked round my bed, non stop. My stress was so high tht was the only way I knew to cope. There was a man there as well whom id often walk up and down the hall with ( by hall I mean a pathway tht shared our bedrooms) Almost everyone I was with, was a heroin addict, including said man. I remember pacing tht hallway again, and again. And he would often try to keep my sprits up. As we became aqainted, I found out he is Jewish, and served in the us, Canadian, and israili navy. Wow. He must have be 70 back then. The story tht stuck in my head from him was tht years back, driving to his house, He talked to a poor family and found the children never had Strawberry's. He got some of course lol. He told me its the little things tht count. I remember him saying tht seeing those kids enjoy Strawberry's 1st time in there lives, made it all worth it.RIP whomever was there and deciesed now.
