Cade Hill is the cemetery in Kentucky where the lead singers dear friend was buried. This song is a eulogy for them.

I listened to both those songs and I really like them. Very mellow and nice lol. Now I have a full folder of Hart of Dixie music on my computer haha

Yeah I really like that one. I also love the Comedown by Austin Hartley-Leonard and You are Mine by Enter the Worship Circle - I am not big on religious music but that song is amazing.

Same, the soundtrack of that show is amazing! I am still on episode 5 of the first series but I really like it; it is a bit naive but it has a lot of hart...I mean heart :)

Yes I agree :) This song portrays love and sadness at the same time. He seems to be asking for forgiveness. I fell in love with this song when I heard it on the tv show Hart of Dixie.

I think that the sense of mystery only adds to the melancholic mood of the song. It is a very surreal scene he is describing but it lingers.

*dying ;) "The rebels in the roses" just means that he is waiting for her where all the dead rebels are buried. I tried to check out that Cade Hill reference but nothing comes up. It's just a romantic song in the end of the day :)
