I think you can't compare... it depends on each person. For example, Lady Gaga is very talented 'cause she has a really powerful voice, and her lyrics are perfect for some kind of people. If you are not one of them it doesn't mean that her music isn't good. And the same happens with Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Eminem and so on. I really LOVE Evanescence, but I think there's no a right or wrong view, only different likes and dislikes.
