I personally think she can sing amazingly live. Have you listened to the album Origin? If not go give it a listen :) It's their first album and had absolutely no editing done to it. You have to account for the fact that when a singer sings live their voice does get distorted by the crowd noise and the fact that the drummer and guitarist and all are playing live not prerecorded for her to sing along to. I think this may also be around the time when she was also recovering from a chest infection.
