I'm kinda not sure why some people are saying this song was written for the movie when the album came out the year before and was proabaly written before then. I could be wrong but I don't think that the song was written for the movie though it does fit perfectly :)

It needs to be better quality. I have this on CD in my car (which admittedly has a decent sound system but still factory) and it sounds a LOT better. If anyone is hearing it for the first time please don't judge it till you've heard a better quality version. (No offense meant to the uploader)

Also, it's nice to see Ev get their due when it comes to their music getting into film, what with the fiascoes concerning the original Underworld (Amy wrote and recorded three songs for the soundtrack proper, only to have the lyrics scrubbed from the final edit at the last minute, due to her Wind-Up bitching), and Daredevil (what with it just plain sucking). Now they've got their content connected to The Avengers and the newest Underworld movie. Sweet. :)

Oh for god's sake. This song is not in the movie's soundtrack. It's in a different album of music inspired by the movie. The songs in that album are not actually used in the film. And if someone is wondering, yes, this song is meant to be Loki's theme & it's brilliant, no matter what anyone says.
