I love this.  It's grown on me slowly.  It's the only song from this year's Eurovision I've heard on the radio in UK.  The Bearded Wonder has disappeared from the face of the Earth as far as I'm concerned.

Na de storm is het makkelijk om een reactie te plaatsen maar toch maar even;Dit is misschien wel het best scorende liedje ever voor Nederland; twee maal een eerste prijs voor performance en opzet, winnaar van de halve finale en dan tweede in de finale wat vermoedelijk eerste was geweest als de Deense presentatrice wat minder aan stemmingmakerij had gedaan. Proficiat en weer wordt maar weer eens bewezen dat echte kwaliteit zich nooit verloochend en door heel veel mensen op waarde wordt geschat.

Like last year our contribution will be again very different from the usual ESC songs.With reason: During decades it became clear that with the Gordon's & Co we are without any chance and eliminated in the pre-classification, thanks to the East European ESC mafia.   Ilse and Waylon will not win, however, a place in the top 10 is again feasible. They have the possibility to sell themselves, their song and Dutch music on a hugh stage.Clever done, like the song!

Holland is famous abroad for their dance acts (Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Afrojack, Armin Van Buren, Nicky Romero, Fedde LeGRand, Junkie XL, Sander Kleinenberg etc. etc.) People around the world still know acts like Twenty 4 Seven, Vengaboys, 2 Unlimited. What do we send to Eurovision? Sieneke, 3J's, Joan Franka, Anouk and now this. I am not saying it is bad music, it is all very respectable, but please: can we send something EXCITING for a change?
