Amazing! I have the Furnace Fest '02 DVD, and Norma Jean (with Josh on lead, obviously) plays Shotgun Message and Cell Phones... but this performance is not on the DVD.

I wish Corey would scream like this with Norma Jean! One of the most powerful screams ever IMO!

The last song they play is "House Left Empty" from the 'Setting Roots for Winter' 7" they released posthumously. The new CD he mentions is a CDR (handmade) of the two tunes from the 7". Eso broke up in 99 while on their first European tour. This was part of a 2 date reunion, 1 in their hometown and the other at Furnace Fest, promoting the Solid State release of their 97 debut release, the only full length they recorded. Email stagereadydrums@gmail for a copy of the final two songs from the 7".

I'm a huge Handshake Murders fan and this is a lot of fun to be able to watch and hear Jayson in this context. I watched this DVD to death when it came out.

i'm a little confused by this, i thought they broke up in 2000, when we saw them at cornerstone that year they said it was their last show, and then they disappeared from the local seen...

How ironic that Josh is guesting w/ Corey's band in this haha. That should show that those two don't have any differences (some people seem to still think Josh and the Jean dislike eachother which is the farthest thing from teh truth)
