Man you must be young. I was in year 10 when Good Charlotte, MCR and all those fuckhead bands hit the scene. I saw the whole emo bullshit explode right before my very eyes, in other words I witnessed the very downfall of music as we know it. These were NOT good memories for me haha.

Because it's in the present, not past. In about ten years, I'll be getting good memories from modern songs too. HA!

well, im actually in year 10... anyway, yeah I see where you're coming from, I actually envy you, I would have absolutely loved to grow up in the 90s! I actually spend more time listening to music from the 60s-00s than trying to keep up with the music today. Music HAS changed since 7 years ago, yes its not some massive change like the change of the 80s glam rock to 90s grunge, but if you listen to popular music then and then listen to popular music now, you'd see the change.

Dude that was five years ago, it hasn't changed that much since then. Your in year 8. I grew up in the 90's and saw music go from 80's glam rock to 90's grunge, the rise and fall of boy bands, the rise of hip hop and finally the new age of rock n roll. You haven't seen serious change in music yet your too young.

that's because it's music now, and there hasn't been time to look back on memories of music these days?

believe it or not, I like most music genres, just not most music that's classed under "Pop". so don't judge me as a "close minded shit", its not a mature approach.

well stop being a close minded shit and look for music you enjoy, also try other genres and don't dismiss them as bad just because they aren't the one you listen to.
