I just discovered Eric Johnson about a month ago..I bought 'Live from Austin' on iTunes and it is awesome! I've never heard a better live performance. Couple weeks ago I bought Tones and love it as well. It's been such a pleasant surprise. EJ's music is so uplifting.

Find if funny that it is really Roscoe Beck on that actual recording, but in the vid it is Kyle Brock on bass. They did the inevitable single edit out, the fantastic bass solo part by Roscoe, because Kyle (or anyone else) would've had great problem in even mimicking that on bass in a video ha ha... great song nevertheless. I do wish that that album wasn't sooooo 80's produced with all post processing effects. Chorus and gated reverb on Erics distorted guitar.... meh! On that next album *Ah Via Musicom* though, he skipped all that, and went for a more timeless sound and production.
