UB 40 were a great band but a lot of their best known tunes were versions of earlier Reggae classics that were popular in Birmingham when these guys were coming up. Nothing wrong with that as they brought these great sounds to a much wider audience.

I think this is the first I heard him. I want to cry because it just brings me to a Jamaica that is dead.

This is another reason I'm glad my American father married a Jamaican woman. I love being a Jamerican. This is a childhood favorite of mine. My mother and I used to dance to this a lot in our Brooklyn apartment. My how time flies.
