JJ Cale was one of the most important influences on Eric. Other than Robert Johnson who influenced Clapton from early in his career. JJ's music was introduced to Eric by Delaney Bramlett back in 1970. The rest is history. Eric has influenced countless musicians. Rock music would be different if it wasn't for Eric Clapton ! One of the Best.
