One of Clapton's greatest songs, and certainly two of the greatest guitar solo. Clapton knew what he was doing when he played this. The first solo is from the soul, but isn't spectacular, and then the second solo is just amazing. Then some more of the epic lyrics before the best outro solo ever, played by the master.

Also, this is an awesome album.

Huge fan of EC. This song contains EC's best electric guitar work in the studio. Much better than Cream for example. Besides an underrated album

The song is great, but ohh that '80's production is just nasty and that synth..uggh! and yes it is one of his finest solo's, reminds me of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Weird ending, you expect it to fade out...

The chord arrangement here is one of those that really lends to heart felt soloing that can go on and on and on. Another one like that is "Old Love", I once went on for 20 minutes to that tune and it still didn't get old. Some progressions just bring things out in a person.

Agreed, this is a classic Clapton solo, it's just an appalling song with appalling production. Would be interesting to have it re-produced by someone that understands Clapton's 60's 70's roots, you'd probably end up with a great song instead of this plastic, microwaved version of blues

Amazing, superb, marvelous, wonderful, prefect and precise. No one can solo like that. I love the album too, and I think this album is mark in his career, he only got better and better aftar that, till today!
