@meatcheese : what are you doing here ? This stuff is valid and will be when you are forgotten .

Yeah, it would be nice... and I agree that it was a career peak for both of them... but I don't see it happening. Ah, well.

We ARE talking about a performance from 13 years ago. I was pretty 13 years ago.... Formula Music. 1 4 5 with LA Session Guys. Of Course it is going to sound good. It is safe. These guys are Pros. Where is the danger? I'm sorry. I should not have made a comment. I am tired of arguing.

Eric has recently toured with Steve Winwood. A similar tour with Whitlock would pack the houses, but it hasnt happened and time is moving on.... Maybe there is something very personal from the past that prevents it. I dont think that either of them has since produced anything with the magic of D&D.

Brilliant arrangement? Yes! Perfect Execution? Almost! 'Over-produced' ? What? They hadn't played together for nearly thirty years and didn't even recognise each other when they walked into the studio. They rehearsed the song just once! This is what you get from consummate musicians. It is a great performance from two musicians who seem to brought out the best in each other.

He is credited with writing half the songs. The story goes that in fact he wrote more than that...

Old Pros. The arrangement is brilliant. Perfect execution. I'd rather listen to 4 16 year olds in a garage, making mistakes, discovering, or not. This is Henry Mancini and or Mitch Miller. You have become my parents. And they have been dead for a very long time. And I am probably older than most of you making comments here. It's the Hey Now Show. Tonight we have the "Hey Nows" playing Hey Now in a style that you have Already Heard. Hey Now..over produced shit

It would be nice if the Dominoes could reform, but Carl & Jim can't do it!
