Great tune. George and Eric wrote it together. Ringo provided most of the lyrics while he was drunk off his ass. The name came from the chords, which Eric saw upside down on the paper, E A D G B E, and he laughed and said, "What's 'badge'?" And that became the name.

@happyface4444 that thing your're talking about is a keyboard and a synth. I can't by now figure out what's that thing he's blowing, probably is part of the instrument. the guy's name is dave sancious and he is a true genius. the keyboard solo in this one and reptile song are outstanding.
