I don't know what happened to Eric Carmen after the mid seventies because he started looking real freaky!!

As much as I like this song, I have to say that the hard rock intro and hook seem ill-suited to the sweet-sounding verse and chorus. Like two different songs stuck together.

Yes, Wally Bryson was and is a great guitarist. We lost out on more great music that Eric and the band could have made due to incompatibility in the band. I was mid teens when they were hot and one of the few 8 track tapes I had was theirs. Please listen to the whole album Fresh, it's all great stuff. Unfortunately because they disbanded so fast, many times their work is overshadowed by critics speaking of their (admitted) influences instead of their fantastic sound and energy. Enjoy.

Awesome tune featuring a great little guitar hook. We heard this on satellite radio at happy hour last night and were KNOCKING OUR BRAINS OUT trying to figure out who sang it. I kept googling "go on your way" which only produced results for FM's "Go Your Own Way".
