I remember looking up at the street signs of Haight and Ashbury. A handmade sign reading LOVE in big letters was draped over the Haight sign. In a coffee shop it was standing room only and a couple of 'Angels wearing their colors one night drank coffee and talked to some poeple but I didn't see any cops, they were probably in plain clothes. At night during the summer of '67 there were masses of people from every background one could imagine and they were all cool and the nights were warm. There was a feeling of love and kindness towards each other and one could let his guard down and just groove to the music from the street musicians. Many smiles were exchanged because conversation was difficult at times with your feet off the ground. A couple of members from The 'Dead" were handing out flyers for the next free concert in the park. A stranger would come up to you whispering acid, dope, speed but we weren't in need. The concert was great and there were so many beautiful people wearing bright colors, strange clothing, flowers and beads. There were a lot of lovers on the grass and a mass of people just moving around the grounds watching other people or just getting into themselves, finding out what they really were all about. By the end of the summer it receded to something foul and dirty. The beautiful people changed their hearts and minds and left for other horizons and the burned out hulks of what were beautiful people were left behind to starve, steal and survive anyway they could, still seeking the former glory of the street called LOVE. There will never be another Summer of '67.

CAGARAM NA MUSICA ORIGINAL DE ESTUDIO (SAN FRANCISCO NIGHTS). O YOUTUBE FICOU PROIBIDO DE PASSAR A MUSICA DE STUDIO. EU PERGUNTO: ISSO ACRESCENTA O QUÊ? PELO CONTRÁRIO VEM DENIGRIR A MUSICA.
