The first time I heard this album I was 9 or 10 years old. After school, I would play her album all the time. I remember it was rainy season in Florida. I can still smell wet grass, and the neighborhood streets warm up in the sun, after the rain. Her music is always connected to such purity, and childhood for me in the 90's. ♥

Enya's voice is so timelessly beautiful............ Because of this alone, I strongly see her as one of my top choices as being one of the vocalists in the mostly symphonic background music of any possible film projects that I would do in the foreseeable future(s) yet to come, alongside Haley Gibby and Chris James, among many others, as well. Won't that be just beautiful, or what?!?!

Ever thought about that "orinocow flow" is the travel away and "on my way home" years later is it's end, the coming back, the end of a years long travel. So it's a kind of closing.

in regards to the background vocals i like to think its a nod to her previous singles. alliteration in a sense.

This is nothing like those other two songs. You are only saying that because of the arpeggiated synth and the pizzacatto strings. If you knew anything about music you wouldn't say that. It's like saying all Radiohead's or Led Zeppelins, or Kanye Wests songs are the same because they keep using the same 'drumsets' or same 'drum samples.' Grow up.

One of these musicians who copy themselves in every single song. Is this a second Orinoco Flow? Or a third Carribean Blue? It sounds all identical. "Turn it up, turn it up, turn it up, up..."

I have this song a a compilation of all her songs and on her album, The Memeory of Tree's. On the first one it is track 14. On The Memory of Trees, it is the last. Either way, it is a wonderful way to end a album. Usually it seems to play on my way home from the office, I tend to hit repeat, so it plays MANY times.
