Okay, so I just bought one of these yesterday (and know absolutely nothing about it). It came with the OS disk, but nothing else... Is there anywhere that I can get sounds for it? I absolutely love the demo track before the guitar (to which was also awesome). Does this thing actually have those drums on it? And if not, how do I get those? I LOVED that demo intro track! :D

Bad ass Vid.. This is Absolutely one of the greatest Hidden gems from the late 80's early 90's! The Parallel FX engine alone is mind blowing! It's actually scary what one can do with only 2mb of data with this beast!! And Polyphonic aftertouch.... The Korg Oasys/Kronos can't even do this! Nobody has since!! Ensoniq is still a King! Amazing what an American company, that makes its own Chips, FOR one purpose can actually do.. ONLY Kurzweil currently can claim that!

Hey guys I just saw a Ensoniq EPS in a pawn shop for around 200.00 Us. It did not have the floppy and stated that it would not work without it. Is this a good deal should I put it on hold and order the floppy to see if it will play. Is there another way to test it? It seems like it would be a great asset to my home recording studio I am building. Any information you can give me would be awesome!

Damn, you sound like my father... Anyway, to put it shortly, a sequencer is a device that can record and play back MIDI data (note number, note duration, velocity, etc.) whereas a sampler is a device that can record audio to RAM memory and playback the audio back. Samplers automatically map the audio sample to the keyboard, so you can sample your voice, let's say saying "Ah", and then you can play it back from the keyboard and different pitches, depending on which key you press. Whew...
