His birth name is Arnold George Dorsey. Engelbert Humperdinck was a 19th century German composer. Upon his manager's suggestion, Dorsey adopted it as his stage name in order to increase his appeal. This is crap. The arrangement has nothing to do with the song itself. It's just another set of notes for Engelbert to do his usual mediocre phrasing. I used to think he was good when I was a kid, but if this is any example, he's terrible.
