Encryptor had a vocalist but he parted ways with them not long before the album was released. There were no hard feelings between the band and Deric (the former vocalist), and they still remain close. After Deric left, Encryptor talked about the idea of transitioning to an instrumental band. Obviously with their talent and progressive influence, they did so and released the album without the tracked vocals.
